Great question. I have a lot…
Short answer is: yes. But not always. I used to straighten it every. single. day. But as this awesome woman said, “ain’t nobody got time for that!” Now, I straighten it once or twice a week. The other days, I just blow dry it and wear it up or wear it curly.
If I do straighten it, here’s what I use. I apply the Chi product all over my damp hair, and then the Paul Mitchell product around the front of my face (where my hair is most curly), blow dry, and straighten. Works like a charm!
Which produces this result (just the straight hair, not the BFF nuzzles)…
If I wear it curly, here’s what I use…
When my hair is still very wet (not towel-dried), I “rake and shake” Ouidad gel through my hair. It’s awesome. Which produces this result (holler for selfies!)…
If I wear my hair blow-dried and up (it’s too puffy and frizzy to wear it down and unstraightened), this is whatchya get…
Again, beautiful and handsome siblings not included.
And finally, if I let it dry au-natural (eek!), here’s the result… (early morning laughter not included, but hoped for!)
