Meet Starfish Living
Today, I’m excited to introduce you to a great new planner brand, Starfish Living! Adorable name, right? The company was incorporated in March 2016 and is women-owned and managed (love this!). Let me show you around one of Starfish Living’s planners! First of all, I absolutely love the look and feel of this planner. It’s compact but not tiny, the color is lovely, and it has great functional features like card slots, a pen loop, and gorgeous dividers with artwork by Lindy Stockton.
What makes Starfish Living planners unique is that they are highly customizable so that customers can mix and match layouts and inserts to exactly suit their needs. There are eight different weekly layouts and over 70 inserts, so there is truly something for everyone! I’ve inserted a slideshow featuring a variety of layouts below–check them out! I especially love the Blog Log and Grocery List inserts. The fact that you can choose inserts based on your changing needs every week, month, and year? So smart. I like the fact that this planner is easy to customize. That is always my biggest frustration with planners, that they have things that I don’t need or only one option for a weekly layout that I’m just not a fan of.
I love the customization aspect of this planner! I am always on the lookout for a new planner and new ways to achieve planner peace! How is the paper quality?
Hi LiveScattered. I’m Jennifer from Starfish Living. We are really excited to be partnering with Blair. Paper quality was a huge deal for our team… we literally sat marking sample after sample with markers and pens to check how the ink flowed on the page and to see if there was bleed through. We finally went with a more expensive and higher quality paper — the brand is Cougar — and a 70 lb weight to ensure the paper is top notch for all kinds of writing utensils.
I am old-school and love to write things down as opposed to storing them in a device. I don’t have my 2018 planner yet and would love to give a Starfish planner a try. Thanks so much for the giveaway!

Part of the reason for the inserts is that while I love the concept and free form of bullet journaling, I can’t keep up with it and manage my life — just do not have the time on a consisten basis. So tickled that you recognize the commonalities because they are intentional!
Do you still use Power Sheets? I first heard about them from you and I’m hooked. Just ordered my 2018 set.

I hate to admit this buuut.. I’m a 26 year old who hasn’t used a planner since high school. I know, it’s sad. But I just got a new job as an executive assistant and am most definitely in need of a planner to manage her (and my) schedule. So this couldn’t have come at a better time! I’d love the starfish planner for 2018! Right now I use a few separate google docs for projects, to do lists, even my running log and it’s just not working. Who logs into google to check things off a to do list? Definitely love paper planners and the starfish story 🙂

So interesting to see this! I love all things paper, and thus am a die hard paper-planner-user. I love seeing new planners. I have used a similar design/layout for years, and I think it would be great to switch it up!

i would love a planner because i am a mom of 3 and life gets a little chaotic and i could use some organization
