100 Things I Love for My 100th Post

Can you believe it? This is my 100th Blair Blogs post! And I’m grateful, so grateful, for readers like you and super supportive friends and family! I’m trying to get better about counting my blessings and not my complaints. Life is beautiful, so let’s celebrate it, ya know?

1. The way the first sip of water feels in the morning
2. The feeling I get when I’m driving the speed limit and a police officer passes me…like I’m beating the system…when I’m really obeying the system…
3. The Maryland state flag
4. The sound of the laundry machine filling up with water and the smell when I throw the detergent in
5. An empty e-mail inbox
6. Tanisha Gets Married
7. Really extremely very sweet sweet tea
8. Hot, long showers and baths
9. Looking at the clock at 12:09
10. The number 9
11. Jeans that fit really well
12. A fresh bouquet of gerber daisies
13. New pens and pencils
14. My red Elon sweatshirt
15. The feeling of waking up before my alarm sounds
16. Giggling to myself as I read Raising Colorado
17. Chicken nuggets
18. Listening to John’s constant Buddy the Elf impressions
19. Getting chills when a great song is sung in church
20. Changing into leggings and a t-shirt after a long day in uncomfortable clothes (which is everything except leggings and a t-shirt)
21. When my hair isn’t a lion’s mane and is somewhat manageable
22. Sleeping with the windows open
23. Having a fantastic conversation with a complete stranger
24. Vests. Vests all Fall and Winter long.
25. Scarves. Scarves all Fall and Winter long.
26. Making a meal on the stovetop or oven and not in the microwave
27. Scalding hot coffee
28. The Baltimore Ravens
29. Things that are color coded, organized, and labeled
30. People who wear glasses (confession: sometimes I wish I didn’t have 20/20 because I think glasses are so cute)
31. Walking behind someone who smells great (you know you love it too)
32. Drinking out of styrofoam cups
33. The color navy blue
34. Babies. I love all the babies.
35. Snuggling on the couch with my favorite sweatshirt blanket
36. All the silver bracelets my mama has gifted me
37. Kisses on my forehead
38. Cutting a fresh lemon wedge and squeezing it into sparkling water
39. Reading a Bible verse at the perfect time
40. Walking around outside when it’s cold but staying warm
41. Sigma Kappa sistas bound by a mystic bond
42. Having a huge family on one side and a small one on the other
43. The feeling of accomplishment when learning to navigate a new city
44. When my lips aren’t chapped
45. Being a full-fledged Fowler girl (cocktail napkins, candles, and rearranged furniture 24/7)
46. Not jumping on the fashion train until a few months late and then caving
47. Belly laughs
48. Looking out at a view where nothing man-made is visible (mountains, the beach…)

50. The way that it feels to lay down on the couch when you know you can

71. Eating crabs on the deck in the summertime
72. The mourning period that follows finishing a great book
73. When people try to tell a funny story and can’t finish through their own laughter

95. Real ice cream instead of frozen yogurt
