Sure Impressed Me

September 27, 2012 by Blair Lamb Filed Under: Health & Beauty, Product Recommendations, Sponsored Post

A couple of weeks ago, I opened up a Chegg box containing a textbook…and fake nails? Yeah, I was as shocked as you surely are, believe me. What does a textbook rental service have to do with the health and beauty industry? Absolutely nothing.

I shouldn’t complain though. The Impress Manicure kit that Chegg so generously gifted me was rockin’. Never have I ever worn fake nails. Never have I ever thought I’d like to wear fake nails. Never have I ever thought about blogging about liking fake nails. Never say never y’all.

Unlike other fake nails, Impress Manicures require no glue, no dry time, no mess. The back of each nail has a thick gel-like coating. Simply swipe the included alcohol pad over each natural nail to remove dirt and grime (while trying not to let the scent take you back to getting shots as a child), and push each fake nail on. It’s simple. Then, you can file down the nails to your desired length.

The look? Polished and professional. And these babies lasted forever…over a week! Amazing. There is a wide range of colors and styles of Impress Manicures, and I definitely plan to purchase some others in the near future. That is, if Chegg doesn’t send me a few more samples…which I wouldn’t be opposed to… 😉

I’m not one to brag, but I should mention that I received multiple compliments a day throughout the week that I wore my Impress nails. Just sayin’.

Want to buy a set of nails from Impress Manicure? Head out to Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid, or several other retailers. But wait! First, download a $1 off coupon and save a buck.

Anyone heard of Impress Manicure? Randomly received it in a Chegg order? What’d you think?

{Head over here and ask me a question or two, I’d love to hear from ya!}
